BAYREP-PROJECT HOPE VOLUNTEER DAY

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2006
10:00am - 4:00pm
Project Hope, 45 Magnolia St, Dorchester, MA (map)

To Volunteer, contact Christina Shvartsman

Project Hope moved into a new facility this summer, leaving behind the old shelter, children's center and food pantry in poor condition. Recently, Project Hope received the exciting news that the old facility was selected for Channel 5's Extreme Makeover: Hometown Edition, which will occur November 6-17.

On November 12, a team of BAYREP volunteers will help Project Hope remodel the shelter. Project Hope needs help cleaning, painting, wall papering, staining floors, moving in furniture, and decorating. No amount of time is too small. They need all the volunteers they can get. Channel 5 will be filming and providing news coverage throughout the work period. And Project Hope will be able to house more families. More Details

To volunteer at the BAYREP-Project Hope Volunteer Day on November 12 or to find out about other days you can help during the November 6-17 process, please contact contact Christina Shvartsman

DIRECTIONS: By public transportation, there is commuter rail station very close, or bus #41 from the JFK stop on the red line.
